Modern Services
About Our Worship
We have a wide range of Sunday services so there is usually something during the day to appeal to everyone. Those who are not familiar with Church of England worship will probably find that one of the all-age services (Family Service or Nine Thirty Start) will be the easiest to follow. People who are used to modern Anglican worship will appreciate the Parish Eucharist, while those of more traditional taste will find they are catered for at the Prayer Book services.
The Church is committed to enable all ages to learn from and worship with each other.
Children are welcome to enjoy our services in their own way, and nobody is disturbed if they make a noise or want to move around. Most parents with small children find that the whole experience is better if the children are free to explore – there are always plenty of adults around to ensure that they do not do anything that might cause an accident.

Our 10.30 am services each month broadly follow the cycle set out below; however this mary vary from time to time depending on events within the parish or the church, including the time when Easter and Christmas fall.
(1st Sunday) Parish Eucharist (Modern Holy Communion)
(2nd Sunday) Sung Matins (Traditional)
(3rd Sunday) Parish Eucharist (Modern Holy Communion)
(4th Sunday) Family Service (Informal)
(5th Sunday) Methodist Service
