Ashes for Ash Wednesday
If anyone would like to bring their palm cross from last year to the Nine Thirty Start on 14 Feb...
On this day we have been using the ancient practice of marking worshippers’ foreheads with ashes as a sign of repentance. Traditionally the ashes are made from burning last year’s palm crosses. If anyone would like to bring their cross to Nine Thirty Start on 14 February we shall burn them as part of our preparations for Lent.
